Motion Graphics for Channel 5 Documentary
By creating an intricate 3D model of an ancient burial site, we were then able to develop animation sequences that to demonstrate information relayed in the programme. Due to the location of the site, and the fragile nature of the skeleton, these creative animations were the best solution to present the data.
The texture of the skeleton was hand-painted to add further elements of realism and to enhance the drama. The damaged appearance of the skeleton also served to demonstrate the grim nature of the burials. In total, 10 sequences were created for the programme, which Channel 5 aired in 2011.
